Long story short, my brother (who I know know as Sam, which is short for Samuel Timothy Ryan) was coming a few weeks early. Actually almost two months early. The doctors were concerned, but it looked like Sam wanted to come out so they did some things and whammo-bammo, Sam was born. He's now in the NICU at the hospital. That means they are taking extra special care of him. At least that's what my parents say. Lots of people have come by the hospital to see them, but I've been spending lots of quality time with my grandparents, which is fine with me. They give me cookies and popsicles. What's better?
Here's my mommy and her nurse before they took her to the delivery room:
Her nurse was very nice. She brought daddy food.
Here is daddy in his "scrubs," ready to watch the delivery:
He even got to cut the cord!
So once Sam was born, they hooked him up to some machines that help him breath and some other things that monitor his heart rate, respirations, and Oxygen levels. (I don't know what that means, but Daddy told me to write it.) I can't wait to bring him home. It may be 30 days from now, but we can only hope it'll be sooner. Talk to you again soon!
Love, Jackson.
